Five Fights.
Zero Compromises.
Not vague platitudes. Not focus-grouped buzzwords. Five concrete commitments to the working families of NJ-08 — funded by you, not corporate PACs.

Fight 01
Establish Medicare for All
No one should go bankrupt because they had cancer.
Mussab was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkin's Lymphoma at age 23. He beat it — but millions of Americans can't afford to fight. The incumbent won't even co-sponsor the Medicare for All bill. Mussab will be a Day One champion.
Co-sponsor and champion the Medicare for All Act — universal single-payer healthcare as a human right
No premiums. No copays. No deductibles. Coverage for dental, vision, mental health, and prescription drugs
Cap prescription drug prices — no family should pay more for insulin than a dinner out
Expand community health centers in Newark, Elizabeth, and Jersey City's underserved neighborhoods
02
Fight 02
Tax the Rich
Wealth should be shared, not hoarded.
Billionaires pay a lower effective tax rate than teachers and mail carriers. While working families in NJ-08 struggle to afford rent, the wealthy hoard wealth that should be invested in schools, healthcare, and housing.
Pass a wealth tax on fortunes over $50 million — make billionaires pay their fair share
Close corporate tax loopholes that let corporations like Amazon pay $0 in federal taxes
Tax capital gains as income — Wall Street shouldn't pay a lower rate than a nurse
Redirect revenue to NJ-08 — fund schools, healthcare, infrastructure, and affordable housing with wealth tax proceeds
03
Fight 03
Abolish ICE
No more masked Gestapo in our streets.
45% of NJ-08 was born in another country. ICE raids terrorize families in Newark, Elizabeth, and Jersey City — masked agents pulling parents away from their children. Our immigrant neighbors don't need whispered sympathy. They need someone who'll say it loud.
Abolish ICE and replace it with a humane, accountable immigration system that respects due process
Create a pathway to citizenship for the 11 million undocumented Americans who already contribute to our communities
End family separations and immediately reunite children with their parents
Protect sanctuary cities and block federal funding penalties against municipalities that refuse ICE cooperation
04
Fight 04
Stop Endless Wars
Invest in schools and hospitals at home, not bomb them abroad.
We spend billions funding wars abroad while schools in our own district have lead in the water. Children in NJ-08 drink from contaminated fountains so defense contractors can hit quarterly earnings. Enough.
Cut the bloated Pentagon budget and redirect resources to healthcare, education, and infrastructure at home
End unconditional military aid to governments committing human rights violations
Require Congressional authorization for all military engagements — no more blank checks for war
Invest in diplomacy — fund the State Department, international development, and conflict prevention over military escalation
05
Fight 05
Get Money Out of Politics
No corporate PACs. Ever.
If the same corporations funding Republicans are funding Democrats, how do we ever expect progress? This campaign has raised every dollar from working people. Average donation: under $100. That's not a limitation — it's a feature.
Pass publicly financed elections — small-dollar matching funds to amplify the voice of ordinary voters
Ban dark money — require full disclosure of all political spending and close Super PAC loopholes
Ban stock trading by members of Congress — public service shouldn't be a path to personal profit
Automatic voter registration and restore voting rights for returning citizens — democracy works when everyone participates
The Mussab Ali Pledge
Every candidate makes promises. Mussab makes commitments — backed by a track record of delivering. From $61K teacher salaries to $0 student lunch debt to zero board meetings missed through chemo. This isn't a wish list. It's a fight plan.
