Anti-Corruption & Democracy

The Issue

Repeal Citizens United. End Corporate Influence in Politics.

Our democracy is not for sale. Mussab’s primary opponent has taken millions from AIPAC, corporate PACs spanning from pharmaceutical companies to military contractors. His voting record shows it. Policy must be made for working families, not corporations and the ultra-rich. Mussab will never accept corporate PAC money, period.

Our Promises

  • Refuse all corporate PAC donations and contributions from special interest groups whose policy priorities conflict with the needs of NJ-08 residents

  • Call for a constitutional amendment repealing Citizens United and pass federal legislation requiring full disclosure of all dark money contributions, banning corporate and foreign-linked PAC spending in federal elections, and creating small-dollar public matching programs to empower everyday donors

  • Champion the Freedom to Vote Act and the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, make Election Day a federal holiday, expand automatic and same-day voter registration, oppose all voter suppression measures, and abolish the filibuster as a barrier to passing democracy reform
